what is efoil ?
the future of surfing
An eFoil, short for electric hydrofoil, is a type of watercraft that combines asurfboard with an electric propulsion system and a hydrofoil. The hydrofoil is a wing-like structure that extends below the water surface and lifts the
board out of the water as it gains speed. This design allows the eFoil to "fly"
above the water surface, providing a unique and exhilarating riding
experience.
How to Fly?
BOOK A SESSION:
We recommend 60 min session for a better experience.
Board Familiarization:
Get acquainted with eFoil board on land. Learn the locations of the power button, throttle control.
Body Position:
As the eFoil gains speed, shift your weight slightly forward to lift the hydrofoil out of the water.
Maintain Balance:
Keep a balanced posture, and use your core muscles to maintain stability. Avoid leaning too far forward orbackward.
Turning:
To turn, shift your weight to one side and gently use the throttle to adjust the angle of the hydrofoil.Practice turning in both directions.
Practice Hovering:
Once you are comfortable, practice hovering at a consistent height above the water by adjusting thethrottle. This is the sensation of "flying" on the eFoil.
Braking and Stopping:
Practice slowing down and stopping by releasing the throttle gradually. Use the brake function if your eFoilhas one.
Advanced Manoeuvres:
As you gain confidence, you can experiment with more advanced manoeuvres such as carving, jumps, andother tricks.
